the Man who lost the meaning of life is torn between two questions. "Why?" and "Why?". Or in other words, between Reason and Purpose. Emotionally he's not very well. We rarely seek meaning when they are happy.
Consider both searching for its meaning.
In the first case, the meaning, to answer the question "Why?" for the creation of the world and of human origin. There are two kinds of answers to "Why?"
- sense as a reason. This is based on our scientific understanding of the world.
