"do you Believe in Santa Claus?" - such a simple question I asked the participants of the group in Vkontakte "My psychologist in Omsk" last week. Opinion was divided almost in half: 53% believe and 47% do not. Faith is that which requires evidence. And now I will be very careful in most parts of these "proofs", because I am among those who believe. br>
I will not be persuaded that Santa Claus does not exist. I saw your gas, heard with my own ears and even talked to him. He was like a dad. Mysterious and at the same time very earthly (the Pope did not realize that from under his robe, showing HIS pants), to meeting him, I have prepared long and very responsibly. I had to dress up in mom stitched suit (in starched gauze I felt fantastic), to tell a poem (expressing, of course), to portray in dance, "Snowflake", make a wish and accept with gratitude the gift. My older brother, versed in the question "where do babies come from", of course, understood that Santa Claus is dad, but... I am immensely grateful to him, my mom and dad that they were playing this good and valuable game with me. Later, I enthusiastically sang this performance to his younger brother, which came to the same Santa Claus. br>
In my opinion, Santa Claus fulfils an important psychological problem, not only for children but also for adults. br>
first, Santa Claus teaches the hierarchy. This character is an absolute authority, but there is no malice. He knows that the child is good, but don't allow that kid (or drunken Manager at corporate) treated him with disrespect. Santa Claus knows what is "good" and what is "bad". He knows the identity of the child has not yet formed, so it is very consistent in its rules. Santa Claus is not afraid, but they are motivating! br>
Questions to think about:
- whether you're an authority for your children?
- does your life authority? br>
second, we learn to mold your desires into goals. A letter to Santa Claus is awareness of their needs, desires, and willingness to admit it. The need to listen to yourself, understand what you really want is a fundamentally important point not only for children but for anyone at any age. For while man cannot even find his desires, he will get nothing and nothing will come out. Formulation of wishes for Santa Claus has its roots in the early experience of contact with their own needs, understanding, desires, and most importantly, the realization that the man himself might have something to do to implement them. Yes, as a child, to get the coveted doll, I had to learn a poem. An adult has to generate a map on which the calculated route to the desired goals. br>
Questions to think about:
- does your child Know what he wants? Even if he were to admit it? If he knows under what conditions he will be able to realize your wish?
- do you Know what you want? Do you know how to admit it? Do you know the conditions under which you will be able to realize your wish? br>
third, we learn to give thanks from the heart and to form an intimate relationship. We know that the one who took responsibility for our innermost desires , heard of them and forgotten – an important person in our lives. br>
Questions to think about:
- do you thank?
- do you Know how to accept gratitude?
- do Cherish those who are attentive to you? Does this person that dear to you?
Santa Claus – the legacy of our culture, a metaphor, a meme (as it is now fashionable to say). And let faith in him is irrational, in my life there was no other, more appropriate and creative faith. Try to think about my questions above. Sure each of us have work to do, but because Santa Claus will knock on our door on the eve of the new year. br>
