У меня нет проблем или кто боится Зигмунда Фрейда.

the

the Month of may generous on the anniversary, but for me, and I hope that I'm not alone, there is still a significant date. On may 6, 1856 in the Austrian Empire, was born a boy, whose mother, affectionately called "My Golden Sigi". The Jews are annoying many people by the fact of its origin. But Sigismund Schlomo Freud especially notable in this series.

for decades, this Viennese doctor has been a caricature. A pop icon of the unconscious and sexual urges. Ego, id and superego are terms familiar to all, but the problem is that the Freud perceived as a metaphysical figure. Which appeared out of nowhere with crazy ideas about how our minds work. However, being a neurologist, Freud spent years studying nerve cells in the lab in Vienna. But pure science he had to leave. His head Brücke said to him: "Young man, you chose the path that leads to nowhere. At the Department of psychology in the next 20 years, vacancies are not expected, but you do not have sufficient means of subsistence. I don't see another solution: leave the Institute and start practicing medicine". Freud worked as a psychiatrist and even venereal diseases and few know that the term cerebral palsy (cerebral palsy) also belongs to him. This hour there are already many books from which to learn about this amazing personality.

Sigmund Freud was a creature of his time. He did not "invent" the unconscious. Versions of this concept, but not the names can be found among Leibniz, Descartes, and Hume. In 1860, the German scientist Gustav Fechner formed a theory of unconscious processes. Hermann von Helmholtz and Wilhelm Wundt, reputable scientists of that time also argued that there was unconscious. In the 1870s, the English physiologist William Benjamin carpenter coined the term "adaptive unconscious" in his work. Many thoughts and feelings, he argued, are beyond our awareness.

Today, no neuroscientist would claim that the unconscious does not exist. No one working in this area, will argue and with the primary emotional movements in humans.

In 1895, Freud started writing his project "Scientific psychology". He wrote Fliss: "When I was young, for me, there was nothing more desirable philosophical insight. Now I am on the way to it, turned from medicine to psychology"... "I see" — he argued in a lengthy new year's letter— "that as a doctor you tried your best to understand the person with physiology; but I secretly hope the same way to achieve the other goal of philosophy". Freud never finished this enormous work. But he hoped that this day will come in the future. September 23, 1939, Dr. Schur introduced to Freud a dose of morphine sufficient to interrupt the lives of the frail old man. At three in the morning, Sigmund Freud died.
