Article reflection and for reflection, we do not claim to have the truth and nobody is trying to impose the idea contained in it. The article from the point of view of analytical psychology attempt to examine the mechanism underlying many of our psychological difficulties and problems. All this is considered under the prism of the archetypal foundations of the Christian religion, in particular concepts such as Heaven, Hell, God, Devil.
anyway, As don't hide behind the mask of atheism and his pompous "consciousness" today is to recognize the fact that we are still deeply religious, and it's not bad and not good. It is a given, this is the human experience which we have inherited, whether we like it or not. In us still lives the magic thinking, and it is further takes the reins in their hands, the more we tend to "disown" it. In fact magic is becoming a reality in our days, because magic is usually that we do not understand and are not aware of.
Personal experience and the experience of psychological practice once again led me to believe that many of the biblical text and of the mystery they are drawn, are nothing but an attempt to find the answer to the eternal questions and contradictions of our lives that for many millennia, attempting to resolve every one of us. And it's not just a matter of faith in God, in these texts scenes filled with feelings, emotions and experiences that accompany us in life: love, betrayal, fear, hatred, guilt, acceptance, humility and it is important to pay attention. Why I want to raise this topic? Because you can spend quite a clear relationship between acute internal conflicts that accompany us in life today and the ways in which we try to resolve them. We have not gone far in their awareness from the people that were witnessing the birth of Christian myth, lived in the time of the birth of the Christian religion. It is important to be aware of and to avoid the idea that today we are living this myth, each in his own way, of course adjusted for the fact that we are a person raised in Christian culture.
Returning to my practice, I want to note that a considerable part of psychological difficulties and problems with which people today come to counseling boil down to questions of how to be and how I behave in situations: when betrayed, when love, when consumed with guilt when experiencing fear and anxiety before something, etc. the Most interesting that at this point we are like the man under the influence of a judge. This judge seems to be in us, but he judges as others, and the person inside which is. In his power to assess who is right and who is guilty, who should be justified and who to banish to eternal damnation. It's like a single mechanism that controls our behavior, and often we ourselves suffer, if you do not realize it. Here I am reminded of a remarkable line from a very personal and at the same time very important and profound work of C. G. Jung "the Red book", they can clarify some points.
"What do you think about the nature of Hell? Hell is when the depths come to you with anything that you are no longer or what can't. Hell is when you can no longer achieve what they could achieve. Hell is when you should think and feel and do all that you can't. Hell is when you know that what you have is what you want and what you are responsible for it. Hell is when you know that everything serious that you have planned for yourself is also funny that all the sublime also brutal, that everything good is also bad, that everything high is also low, and that everything pleasant is also shameful."
If translated into the language of everyday life is not like hell, those experiences that we feel when deprived of a meaningful love for us human when we lose our health and understand that I can't do what others do and the fact that we easily could before, when we betray man and understand that you can't turn back time to change all of that. You can continue to infinity, but the mechanism remains the same, first we lose some opportunity and then start like gods to judge yourself and others for it, while sending himself into hell and torturing there, in the boiling pot of their feelings and thoughts.
Continuing the thought and idea of C. G. Jung, what the hell is all that we can't, then perhaps the so-called devil's "conditions". What's the meaning of that? So this is what we have to live in a world of conditions. In the situation where we are, to respect yourself and accept, it is important to observe a lot of conditions, and these conditions are often so distorted and exaggerated that we are simply not able to meet them always, and therefore ultimately doomed at some point, not to fulfil them. Immediately comes to mind is the scene where the devil promises untold benefits and blessing, the one who will sell your soul to him. Very similar to the first condition... All of this resonates with the theme of parental love and acceptance as a sample of our future relations with the surrounding world and himself. Often our childhood is filled with lot of conditions that we need to meet to obtain approval and encouragement of parents. In such an atmosphere many of us simply no way to learn how to harmoniously live in harmony with yourself and others, without resorting to the implementation of many we do not need, of these conditions...they become sort of the basis of our personality.
We always face a choice and every choice implies that in the process we gain and lose something...and hence the question about the correctness of an act is partly eliminated. I think it is important to understand that all that is described in religious mysteries, is first and foremost not what happens to us somewhere out there, somewhere in the external or hereafter. Heaven and hell is essentially all that is happening within us here and now, today, every second and everything that is projected on the outer world.
If we talk about analytical psychology, one of its important aspects in working with the psychological difficulties of this kind may be reduced to the gradual weakening and removal from authority of the one who can judge others in the first place itself, in fact it is a gradual realization that we are not "Gods". Person is important to understand and accept his imperfection, nothing human is alien to us, and along with this, in each of us a lot of creative and bright. Understanding your polarity protects us from the excessive demands of themselves and others and provides a stimulus for development, gives you the freedom. It's kind of a myth about Judas, who betrayed Jesus and he is not entitled to forgiveness, or rather he did not allow himself to forgive. And now imagine, what mysteries happen inside each of us...imagine what the description of this myth does not link to external events and internal experiences of the person, in fact it is something that happens inside us, it's like our inner God, the Devil, Jesus, and Jude try to come to some kind of resolution. All this is part of our personality and all that we...
speaking symbolically the role of God implies a great responsibility, we are not able to endure psychologically if her identificireba without breaking with himself. Therefore, unknowingly becoming like him, we either take on the tremendous burden, or run from it, aimlessly.
Want of harmony with the soul!
