After already strained, until, somewhere in the middle of the course, came the turn to practice, we had to sit still for an hour without moving. And again, I decided to try to accomplish the task. In most cases, it worked easily. But one day, by the middle of the meditation I realized that in this position of sitting is already uncomfortable. Made the effort, endured until the end of the meditation, after also slept, but half a day.

the Teacher explained that this is the most productive work, to endure to the end. But to persist is still not worth it, way still middle. Decided not to injure your body, and change the position when it became difficult to sustain in the same position. Gradually it became easier, the pain in the back, and by the end of the course could easily sit for an hour, and there was a feeling that I can do more.

For myself I realized that if you try real hard, even in meditation, the body may temporarily “off”. I Think that unlikely to go back. It was difficult for me to withstand the expression of S. N. Goenka. To my perception, expressed in mournful chants and sometimes primitive preaching, overloaded with allegories. But that's my perception. Also, ethics and morality are two different things. Regular practice, people become righteous, morally from the inside and not able to violate the rules of morality, and people who adhere to moral standards may not always be moral, and morality can sometimes push to immoral actions. Practice this inner work, and obsession with moralizing in sermons - external embedding in the conventional or comfortable to someone frame. For some people morality need not argue.
