In this video I share my perspective on the tragedy in the Kerch Polytechnic College.
I See this problem is socio-psychological. Unfortunately in our society today, especially in the post-Soviet countries are not well-developed institution of the family. A large number of parents are archaic, and the only known method of "carrot and stick" in the education of their children. That in my opinion distorts the education of healthy personalities in their children. Or parents simply don't know how to cope with his child, because children themselves-all the same parents. And quality parenting they had not been taught.

just naked eye can see that the psychological culture in our society makes the poor. Today is a good child and family psychologist in public institutions such as kindergarten, school, College, University - rather a rarity than the norm. And there are objective reasons. I talk about them in this video. And as I speak, the most available ways to solve the occurrence of such tragedies. I am now in the wonderful city of Kerch. For not a remarkable event. I am here second day and part of those psihologov that provide assistance to the families of the victims of the tragedy. I want to share with you my vision of the situation which occurred in politehnicheskiy College.
I consider this event as the totality of the failures of our society. Psychological, economic, political, social.
While officials decide to raise the age of gun buyers from 18 to 21 years enhance institution turnstiles, today I suggest you to increase the psychological culture in our society. And look at the true causes of such tragedies, and not just allegedly to fight with some external symptoms. What essentially is the difference whether weapons 18letny student politehnicheskiy College or 21летний University student, Yes or the same College.
And we understand who will buy these turnstiles, and how much money will go towards their purchases. They will generally function and be serviced.
While the head of the Republic called 18 the killer is inhuman, personally, I see this guy the same victim of our society that had a deep psychological trauma. Which for some reason was not prodeinotherium by anyone other than his neighborhood grannies. Neither in the kindergarten nor at school, nor in College, nowhere. I'm not talking about the correction of such conditions in children. And I understand why it could happen. I worked in these institutions and can safely designate the fact that in these social institutions quite different tasks and requirements. Lots of papers, reports, and very little real practical psychological work with PEOPLE. And often such tasks are set by the management psychologist in these institutions. For the psychologist objectively IMPOSSIBLE to provide quality psychological help of an unrealistically huge number of children, teachers and parents. And all this with a salary lower than the price of renting a Studio apartment in any province. I'm not talking about the fact that the psychologist needs to improve their knowledge, to have a personal therapist, supervisor, in order not to go crazy. And such qualitative conditions of work of the psychologist are today, it is ten times more than his income... if it can be called that income.
So friends, my goal is neither to tell you how bad it is. And to explain how it really is.
What I want to tell my parents?:
To prevent such tragedies, enough to start to track the strange behavior of your child, he strangles cats. My dear, I don't believe that Your child is born a bastard or born of some evil or aggressive. And he was clearly not born in the white tee - HATRED for all to see... Angry and agressirovat learn we - adults. Or don't learn - even worse. Happened some event in his life - he got mad. What to do with that anger? - he doesn't know. And he's strangling cats, other children or themselves. You do not know what to do? - find a specialist who will help You to find out. Divorce you and your husband are finding strength qualitatively to say to my son with love and cuddling. Don't know how to do it - find a specialist. Pay him money for it or agree to look into this issue for free, or on some conditions. Or come to a kindergarten, school, Institute, tell yourself that You are not interested in psychological reports and mountains of paperwork, ask about PRACTICAL PSYCHOLOGICAL CARE for Your family. And You'll be fine!
What I want to say to colleagues. I know that I have many active friends of psychologists, and you are watching this video. I rarely have what I ask, but today I beg you, regardless of where you are in Kiev, St. Petersburg, Lviv, Riga, Hamburg, Odessa and Rostov. Meet with colleagues in their city. Discuss the tragedy at Kerch, and a similar tragedy. Unfortunately the more likely they will happen and we psychologists, psychotherapists, like no other can significantly reduce their number.
Discuss the issues that You as psychologists can do in such cases? Can? In what ways? At what stages? How much are you ready for this? What you need to do? Lay this tragedy on the arrangement, draw paint, play in psychodrama, provocate each other in hypnosis, anyway. But please, come in your city, observe its readiness for such situations, their feelings and resistance. It will be the best your help today. I embrace all.
